It is a two-part core update that will begin mid-June and extend until July 2021 as the tech giant continues to finalize the newest improvements in Google's algorithm software. Firstly, Google is introducing 3 Core Web Vital Metrics:

●      LCP or Largest Contentful Paint
●      CLS or Cumulative Layout Shift
●      FID or First Input Delay

To explain further, LCP primarily measures the amount of time the content of the page has fully loaded. This time around, the stories will focus on news content that abides by Google News Policies. It will feature online publishers that continuously produce original and independent work that contains fresh and purposeful content.
