Claro announces New Coverage in rural populations of Ecuador in South America

A new population connects to high-speed mobile Internet. Alao in the province of Chimborazo, joins the rest of rural areas, that today can access to Claro high-speed coverage, generating better opportunities for these communities.

GUAYAQUIL, Ecuador - June 21, 2021 - PRLog -- In Lago Agrio, with the presence of Government authorities and representatives of Claro, the expansion of High Speed Coverage in several towns in Ecuador, was formally announced, including the benefited community of Alao (Chimborazo). This is part of the consistent investments that Claro makes, working and improving accessibility among many vulnerable places in Latin America, in the effort to expand its coverage scheme and technological update. Its purpose of bringing connectivity to all corners of the country, providing technology to more inhabitants of rural areas, who experience greater capacity and speed to navigate, is now more than ever, a priority for the telecommunications company, to reduce the social gaps that affect the inequality of certain vulnerable sectors.

The towns of Alao (Chimborazo) and San Sebastian (Manabí) are some of the rural communities that today have connectivity, benefiting their inhabitants with high-speed mobile internet access, through which they can access commerce, tele-education and telemedicine, bridging the digital divide and generating equal opportunities.
