Follow on Google News | ![]() The Center for Contemporary Art 2021 Members' Non-Juried Exhibition & SaleThe judge for this year's exhibition was Susanna Baker, Executive Director and Gallery Director for Studio Montclair, Inc. Baker is a NJ-based artist who combines printmaking, painting, sewing, and 3D effects to create unique artworks. Driven by process, she uses organic and geometric shapes to populate a multi-layered space that might be massive or microscopic. Baker has exhibited widely in both group and solo shows, throughout NJ, NYC, Providence RI, and San Francisco CA. She has also curated a number of shows in the NJ area. She received her BFA from Rhode Island School of Design. "Best of Show, the "Sally Bush Memorial Award", was presented to Bob Ricciotti (Randolph) for his oil crayon and pencil piece, M19; the Ceramics Award of Excellence went to Naomi Nierenberg (Somerset) for her ceramic work, Spatial Interaction; The exhibition will be on view through August 28, 2021.
