By: TandD "Data loggers for vaccine storage and transport have been in high demand over the last few months," said Stephen Knuth, president, TandD US, LLC. "We designed the TR7A specifically for the ongoing challenge of monitoring the delicate storage requirements of the life-saving COVID-19 vaccines, as well as many other types of vaccines." One of the key motivations for developing the TR7A series was to meet the CDC vaccine storage requirements for the Vaccine for Children (VFC) Program, which helps provide vaccines to children whose parents or guardians may not be able to afford them. The TR7A offers automated record keeping, eliminating the need for healthcare staff to manually check and record storage temperatures throughout the day. In addition, it makes it easier to avoid vaccine spoilage because it provides remote monitoring and will alert staff when temperatures are in danger of falling outside of approved ranges. The TR7A also offers widely requested features not available in the TR-7wb. These include an LCD display that allows simultaneous display of two channels, an easy-to-see alarm icon in the LCD at the onset of a warning, and max and min values displayed in the LCD, all designed to make it easy to understand the temperature and humidity extremes for each day. Additional features include:
