POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - July 1, 2021 - PRLog -- Today, IAOP announced the official launch of four new Centers of Excellence, an important step in furthering the association's overarching dedication to the advancement of outsourcing and related business practices.

The Centers of Excellence are led by teams of IAOP Corporate Members and house a centralized collection of accessible expertise and knowledge resources such as best practices, tools, advice, training, and data/analytics, featured videos, webinars, podcasts, articles, research, and discussion groups.

"Establishing the Centers of Excellence is part of IAOP's work to ensure that the most cutting-edge information is available to our members globally," said IAOP CEO, Debi Hamill.  "Today's launch marks the next stage in a comprehensive approach to concentrate expertise around the key areas that our community members are investing in and are critical to attaining and sustaining world-class performance and value."

The Centers of Excellence are:

1.       Digital Technologies shares relevant knowledge resources on the use of digital technologies as our members aid their enterprises to leverage digital technologies to deliver extraordinary growth and optimization opportunities.

2.       SRO & Impact Sourcing focuses on the transformative business model of doing well by doing good. Through this business practice, companies prioritize suppliers that intentionally hire and provide career development opportunities to people who otherwise have limited prospects for formal employment.

3.       Collaborative Supplier Governance focuses on enabling collaborative, successful service provider/buyer relationships by providing all parties with access to relevant knowledge resources to continuously deliver maximum potential value for all parties.

4.       The Future of Work CoE concentrates on the workforce and workplace of the future, including the most considerable disruptions to work including the pandemic, remote work, talent, effectiveness, and automation.

The Centers of Excellence aim to enable collaboration between members, enhance innovation, provide opportunities for education and training,  foster learning, and provide greater thought-leadership opportunities for members.

While the Centers of Excellence are a work in progress and ever-evolving, the objective is to empower all stakeholder groups – buyers, providers, and advisors - to achieve their ultimate business goals.

IAOP Professional Members may access and actively participate in the CoEs. Corporate Members may take an elevated leadership role as well as contribute content.   If you would like to get involved, email info@iaop.org.
