C-19 RAT successfully conducted a 3-Day TOT for Volunteers of Nepal Mask Campaign

KATHMANDU, Nepal - July 8, 2021 - PRLog -- The training started virtually, through the zoom platform. The consortium members of C-19 RAT took a great initiative to train over 45 trainers who will step into the community and distribute free masks while sharing their knowledge about the prevention of COVID-19.

The Training of Trainers program was lead and participated by the members and volunteers of ENPHO, SEN, CREASION, Paschim Pahila, BEFON, GUTHI, and other C-19 RAT member organizations.

4th of July, 2021: Day 1 of ToT for Volunteers Nepal Mask Campaign included:

i) Introduction of the project
ii) Project brief
iii) Expectations, objective sharing
iv) NORM
v) Preventive measures for NORM
vi) Day review and closing of day 1

N- No cost: free masks distributed door-to-door
O- Offering information on mask-wearing via video and brochures
R- Reinforcement in-person in public
M- Modelling and endorsement by trusted leaders

The main intention of this training was to empower the volunteers in their advocacy for the proper use of masks aimed at minimizing the spread of Covid-19.

Over 45 volunteers will interact to increase awareness of the role of wearing a mask to reduce getting Covid-19 infection in the high infection rate areas.

Further, they will distribute masks and aim to convince the community members to continue using safety measures against the Covid-19 infection.
