Release of Bill Squires Latest Stand-Up Album, BAM BAM, July 23rd , 2021The First Clean Comedy Album From Bill Squire, an album meant for his mom to be proud of.
By: Julia Toke "This time I wanted to try and put out a clean comedy album and that's what Bam Bam is," said Bill Squire. With two decades worth on the stage, comedy specials, five albums, and co-hosting a drive-time afternoon radio talk show on WMMS Cleveland, Squire has produced comedy projects & shows at every level. In Bam Bam, Squire explores the freedom smiles not hidden under masks, divorce, parenting, STDs, pooping on rich people's lawns to coming of age in an ultra-religious family. The album pays homage to Squire's parents through the joys of the post-apocalyptic modern mid-life as a working comedian. Although this is a non-explicit album, Squire doesn't think comedy has gotten too dirty, nor has the world become too politically correct. Squire believes "Comedians need to be creative. You can still talk about whatever you want. You just have to be clever. Funny is funny."
