KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - July 14, 2021 - PRLog -- PANDEMIC PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION FOR A GOOD CAUSE

Award-winning photographers, Jim Liaw and Patrick Low unveiled a one of a kind "Lives Amid the Pandemic" photography competition organized for a good cause. This themed-photography competition is meant to capture all type of emotions – the good, the bad or the ugly, that real people have experienced during this time and we hope that it can be an important historical account to be shared to the world. The competition is open to both Professionals and Amateurs photographers worldwide. The competition is now accepting submissions through www.uniteconcerts.org - providing anyone above 18 the opportunity to showcase how the pandemic has impacted their everyday lives through the eye of a lens. It includes everyday occurrences, people's lifestyle, acts of heroism, fleeting moments, unusual happenings and even unexpected changes to the environments.

The 100 best photos selected will be featured in a limited-edition Coffee-Table book titled "Lives Amid the Pandemic – the Good, the Bad and the Ugly" to be released on 15th December 2021. The book will be given to all 193 Head of Nations, United Nations and world-renowned libraries and museums. There will also be used for travelling exhibitions in major cities when it is safe to travel again.

Proceeds from this competition will be donated to the Planet Unite Foundation to pursue relief programs for saving people and planet. The immediate aim is to provide vaccines to underserved communities including logistics deployment. Every participation brings us closer to herd immunity.

This is a Paid Entry competition. The entry fee for Professionals and Amateurs is US$35 and US$20 per image respectively. A cash prize of US$10,000 and US$3,000 awaits the winner of the Professionals and Amateurs categories respectively.
