Hundreds of flowers and decorations went into this amazing event for 'Dr. G' and her 38 friends. The event included over 58 centerpieces, a giant flower wall, decadent desserts, tiaras for the guests, drone videos of the party, a 360 photo booth and even a show by a Michael Jackson impersonator. Everything from the music played to the gifts and entertainment was meant to transport these women into a fairy tale where they were all queens for a day with her as it was her wish. When guests arrived, they saw a custom arch decorated with a mirror that said 'Mirror mirror on the wall' just as in the invitations. A gentleman dressed in an outfit inspired by Cinderella's movie greeted them and informed them about details of the event. As they enjoyed the blue, gold and white decor inspired by French and Spanish palaces, the ladies drinked blue-glittery champagne drinks called 'Blue Prince' and had fun on the 360 photo booth while a saxophonist played live classics from Frank Sinatra and old 'boleros'. After a toast in the balcony area, the guests enjoyed a delicious meal customized for the event in a long royal-style table with hundreds of flowers and gardenia-scented candles. Some examples of the details are how the amaretto and blueberry cake emulated the mines where the 7 dwarfs worked, the chairs where chosen because of their similarity to Cinderella's carriage and the charger plates imitated glassware from royal palaces in Spain. After crowning the ladies and taking a gorgeous picture in the flower wall, they all joined the dance floor to the rhythm of 'Dancing Queen' by ABBA and partied until the room suddenly filled up with fog and a Michael Jackson look-alike joined the dance floor for a grand finale. Dr. Francelis is a well-known business woman and benefactor of the Arts in Orlando. She is involved with several philanthropic organizations. One of the main purposes of the event was not only to be able to enjoy an afternoon with her friends but also to have her friends donate to "Covenant House" a nonprofit organization that helps homeless youth instead of her receiving birthday gifts. The original goal set was to help raise $2,000 but instead, she surpassed her mark and ended up raising over $3,600 that will help these youngsters with basic needs. End
