"It would be impossible to carry out our mission without committed partners like Energy Transfer and Sunoco. Beyond just a financial partner, they provide volunteers, encouragement, organizational wisdom. We are forever grateful for their ongoing commitment to invest in the lives of the families we serve." "Both Energy Transfer and Sunoco LP have longstanding commitments to strengthen local communities, and we recognize that the programming provided by Mercy Street for the children who live in inner-city Dallas is invaluable," Energy Transfer and Sunoco, LP, both belonging to the Energy Transfer family of companies donated a total of $460,000 to Mercy Street in 2017 to fund the construction and operation of a soccer field. Mercy Street's state-of-the- Mercy Street, Inc. started in 2003 with a mentoring program as the main vehicle for reaching the community and building future leaders in West Dallas to ultimately bring positive change to the area. Realizing the needs reached beyond mentorship, Mercy Street decided to add sports as part of their programming and in 2005, Mercy Street began Mercy Street Sports as another vehicle to serve and impact the community of West Dallas. Today, Mercy Street Sports has multiple sports programs throughout the year and that focus on building strong healthy youth and families in West Dallas, South Dallas and the Vickery Meadow area through sports. https://www.slideshare.net/ Contact Jonathan Lyon Mercy Street Communications ***@mercystreetdallas.org Photo: https://www.prlog.org/ End
