Bosco Tech Names Christine Gambill Director of College Advising

ROSEMEAD, Calif. - Aug. 6, 2021 - PRLog -- Don Bosco Technical Institute (Bosco Tech) has named Christine Gambill Director of College Advising.

"We're thrilled that Ms. Gambill is joining our successful academic counseling and college advisement team," said Guillermo (Memo) Gutierrez, Bosco Tech's President. "Working closely with students and their families, she will play a vital navigational role in the high school-to-university experience, and with a strong background in the private school setting, she will be an invaluable addition to our school community."

Gambill is an educator and administrator with a background in curriculum design and development. Most recently, she served as Academic Dean at West Los Angeles' Arete Preparatory Academy, where she taught Philosophy, English, and History, and provided college counseling and academic advisement. Previously, she was a consultant at The MEG School and at MY Education Guru, a comprehensive educational coaching service with 100 percent higher education placement. A graduate of Ohio University and UC Riverside, Ms. Gambill holds degrees in Journalism and Religious Studies.

"Coming from a background where 95 percent of seniors were admitted to their first-choice colleges and universities, I am primarily focused on students' plans for their future and helping them navigate their individual paths toward achievement."
