Moijey Fine Jewelry & Diamonds Announces Leadership Shift with HBCU Alumni Leading Organization

In December 2020, the organization named Naby Banguora Interim CEO as Founding CEO Daniel Moijueh stepped down to explore his new role as a second-time father and children's book author. While the world recovered from the after-effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, MFJD again pivoted its focus to strengthening its internal structure and ushering in new leadership, allowing Bangoura to return to his day-to-day role in global development & manufacturing.

Now heading the organization as President is Aaron Bailey, Former Sales Director for Marriott's Le Meridien brand, with over 15 years in hospitality managing domestic territories, direct sales teams and market forecasting. Bailey is tasked with leading the Human Resources, Sales & Advertising teams with the goal of diversifying sales efforts, increasing overall agility and creating sustainable growth for the future of the Moijey brand.

Bailey, husband and father of five, attended HBCU Bowie State University, which is also Co-Founder Daniel Moijueh's alma mater, where he played for the Bulldogs football team. For the past 11 years, Bailey has served as a Board Member and Coach for Baltimore-based Edreco Youth Basketball league fulfilling his passion for teaching, educating and mentoring young athletes.
