Utah's Newest Dessert Festival Will Give You an Unforgettable Sugar High

SALT LAKE CITY - Aug. 11, 2021 - PRLog -- Utah's sugar levels will hit a new high when the Sugar High Dessert Festival doors open on October 16, 2021 at the Mountain America Expo Center. For a few hours that Saturday, 2,000 dedicated dessert fans and foodies will have the unique opportunity to step into a new world. Over 50 of the best dessert and sweets shops will be handing out happiness in the form of samples. Sugar High Utah will host big bakeries, small bakeries, chocolatiers, confectioners, cottage shops, and sugar entrepreneurs. The sky is the limit on what you will taste and see that day!

The Sugar High Dessert Festival was created to bring together all the amazing desserts available in the honey state…er, beehive state. Utah is known nationally as a hub for all things sweet, but there hasn't been a place where you can get the best of the best in one spot. Sugar High Utah is going to change that.

The masterminds behind this festival, Bryan and Heather Carr, have successfully run the Utah Dough Show since 2019 and are known to dazzle. Through their donut endeavours, they realized that dessert fans also deserved a festival that went beyond deep fried dough. Bryan and Heather have traveled the nation attending other dessert festivals, visiting hundreds of donut shops, and have a knack for building oversized dessert scenes.

To pull off an epic event, the donut duo partnered with one of the nation's top dessert experts, the Donut Critic (AKA "Benjamin"). He is a world-traveled foodie who has been consulting and promoting hundreds of dessert types and brands for years. You know you're going to eat well when you stick with Donut Critic.

The combination of these dessert ambassadors is sure to make for an amazing dessert experience that you don't want to miss. Vendor applications are now open, and tickets go on sale in early September.
