NYC Bagpipes Bagpiper earns scholarships

NEW YORK - Sept. 1, 2021 - PRLog -- NYC Bagpipes Bagpiper earns scholarships

Cristopher Rodriguez a native New Yorker and competition bagpiper has earned 2 scholarships over the summer of 2021.

On May 27th, 2021 the Eastern United States Pipeband Association awarded Cristopher with a scholarship for his efforts and achievements as a competition bagpiper.

Cristopher also was awarded a scholarship for his efforts for the Invermark Piping and Drumming Summer School on June 7th 2021 led by Maureen Connor and Donald Lindsay.

The announcements of these scholarships were preceded his earning of an AGL (above grade level) at his last bagpipe competition in Lime Rock, Connecticut.

Currently he plays with the St. Columcille Pipe Band, County Cork Pipe Band, and the Sean McGonigal Memorial Pipe Band. He had also earned a scholarship from St. Columcille in 2019 shortly before earning an award from the EUSPBA for 3rd most points earned in Grade 3 solo bagpiping.
