PODS ® Phoenix, Arizona Rattlers surprise Hope & A Future with gifts and funds

PHOENIX - Sept. 28, 2021 - PRLog -- The bright, white PODS container with the red sign is synonymous with moving and storing. You can add a PODS container to your driveway for a few weeks while remodeling or pack, store, and move your belongings around the corner or across the country. However, one of their most important uses is supporting local schools and communities. In a charitable collaboration, PODS Phoenix and the Arizona Rattlers teamed up to establish a visual toy store at the Rattler's first-round playoff game on August 29th collecting toys and monetary donations from Rattlers fans for Hope & A Future (https://azhope.com/), a charity that supports children and youth in out-of-home (foster) care.

Fun was built into the entire day with a PODS Phoenix photo booth and a variety of family-friendly games, interactive activities, face painting, and more donated by the Arizona Rattlers.

"Hope & A Future provides so much support for children and families that when the Rattlers suggested working with them at the game, we were all in!" said Steven Figueroa, Manager of PODS Phoenix, "Our PODS Customer Care Team and the kids had a great time!"

The Arizona Rattlers provided 893 tickets for families that work with Hope and A Future. "So many fans came up to the PODS container with toys, games, and funds—it was so heartwarming," said Abbey Rarick, Assistant General Manager for the Arizona Rattlers, "While the Arizona Rattlers donate to many charities, as does PODS Phoenix, it does the heart good to see happy kids and families being together at the game, some for the first time. Stryker was also a huge hit with the families!"

More than $7,000 was collected in toys and monetary donations during the event.
