LOS ANGELES - Sept. 30, 2021 - PRLog -- EVIO announced its expansion into the California market thanks to a purchase agreement for the acquisition of testing lab Leaf Detective. Leaf Detective, Humboldt County's first licensed cannabis testing facility, is an independently owned and operated testing facility specializing in analytical laboratory testing for medical marijuana dispensaries, manufacturers, producers and consumers. In a recent press release, due to California's testing deadline mandating licensed retailers to sell only lab tested hemp products, the industry is predicting a shortage of testing services and delays in getting approval to sell products. EVIO's strategic acquisition efforts look to further expand into the state to meet increasing demand for analytical testing services. Furthermore, upon completion of this acquisition, the company will upgrade the facility to meet new testing standards and plan to be operational by end of third quarter," said William Waldrop, CEO of EVIO Inc.
