His sound is influenced by several artists, including Kid Cudi, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tame Impala and Mac Miller. His songs draw upon personal experiences and attitudes ranging from emotional health to social issues and racial strife. "Music has been a great outlet for me so I can tap into where I've been and where I'm going as a person," Murr says. "It's also an opportunity for me to convey the pain and struggles of people who sometimes feel mistreated, labeled or overlooked. I've seen the effects of prejudice or someone coping with depression." As a senior at The Ohio State University in 2018, Murr began calling attention to the stigma of mental illness. He organized LOUD: Mind & Music, an OSU student-led festival that raised funds for the I Will Help You initiative. He co-founded the Community Jam to support local artists. Murr has been featured on the No Bad News podcast, the Into the Music podcast and The Local Spotlight with I'm From Cleveland co-founder John Stursa. Murr has appeared several times at B-Side Lounge in Cleveland Heights. Passionate about Cleveland, Murr wants to do all that he can to help other local performers share their hearts, stories and talents. "My music is a reflection of our humanity and I hope it can uplift as many people as possible," Murr says.
