Thomas N. Tillery to present at PFS live! Event, October 28 & 29, 2021

ATLANTA - Oct. 26, 2021 - PRLog -- Thomas N. Tillery, CFP^®, AEP^® (Distinguished) Nominee, CLU^®, ChFC^®, CRPC^®, LUTCF, Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer of Paraklete® Financial, Inc. will present at PFS live! a CPAlliance^TM event sponsored by the AICPA. The first session, PFP Body of Knowledge Overview, on Thursday, October 28^th will provide an overview of each component of the PFP Body of Knowledge. On Friday, October 29, Tom will be leading the session, Applying the PFP Body of Knowledge through Case Studies.  Tom will review specific case studies to enhance practical application of the elements presented in Thursday's session. The event will conclude with an on-site PFS exam.

With more than 30 years of experience in personal financial planning, Tom is a frequent speaker and author on topics relating to personal financial planning including, Financial Planning and Tax Advisory Services, Estate Planning for the Affluent, Current Retirement Issues, Working with Investment Advisors, and Stewardship.  Mr. Tillery is the co-author of Essentials of Personal Financial Planning, a textbook used by colleges and universities in graduate programs in accounting, business, and law. Additionally, Tom has co-authored The AICPA Financial Planning Certificate Program. The program addresses all areas of the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) Body of Knowledge and successful completion, with related experience, permits participants to obtain the PFS Credential. Tom and his family reside in Kennesaw, Georgia.
