KIDS ARE FINE follows the journey of a young boy. With his mother sick in the hospital and his father always busy, nine-year-old Da-yi eats, sleeps, and manages to do everything by himself. One day, he heads out on a short and daring trip to meet his mother with the help of his friends. KIDS ARE FINE is directed by Ji-Won Lee and stars Kyung-Hoon Lee, Kyung-Ho Yoon, and Sang-Hee Lee. "The Festival continues a proud tradition of presenting the very best in Korean Cinema. KIDS ARE FINE is a compelling and heartfelt film," stated Gregg Schwenk, CEO of the Newport Beach Film Festival. The Korean Spotlight film will screen on Wednesday, October 27th at 7:45 pm at The Triangle Starlight Cinemas (1870 Harbor Blvd, Costa Mesa, CA 92627). Following the screening, the Festival will host its annual Pacific Rim Gala at Time Nightclub (1875 Newport Blvd. B245 Costa Mesa, CA 92627) starting at 10:00pm. The evening will feature hosted bars by Tito's Handmade Vodka, signature tastings by top Orange County restaurants, multiple DJs, and live entertainment.
