PRCI Chennai chapter celebrates World Communicators Day 2021

CHENNAI, India - Oct. 28, 2021 - PRLog -- Public Relations Council of India Chennai chapter had its first in-person meeting on 28th October, 2021. It is celebrated as World Communicators Day - this day in 1906, the world's first press release was shot out by Ivy Lee following a railroad accident in Pennsylvania, USA. Informed by Sumit Bothra, Chairman, PRCI Chennai Chapter.

Vice-president Dr. N. Parasuraman, PRO, M S Swaminathan Research Foundation spoke about the importance of PR and communication.

Prabodh Jain, Secretary spoke about the activities of the Chennai chapter. Anup Kumar, Joint Secretary proposed the vote of thanks.

Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) is a pan-India Communication Exchange with 50 chapters spread out across the Indian cities and towns. PRCI is a national body of professionals drawn from PR, Corporate Communications, Advertising, Media, Event Management, Academics, and allied domains.
