Black Owned Whiskey Brand Expands into 4 New Total Wine Locations in Florida

ATLANTA - Nov. 2, 2021 - PRLog -- Red Hazel has announced they are continuing their expansion of their Spiced Rye Whiskey offering throughout Georgia and will begin introducing it on shelves within various parts of Florida. Right as Red Hazel celebrates one year in business, they have the opportunity to return to where the idea initially began.

"It is amazing to see something that we have created sold in stores in the exact same places I used to hang out just a little over ten years ago. Going to school in Orlando and returning back with my own whiskey brand, in the place where my dream of Red Hazel was first formed is inspiring and we are just getting started," shares CEO Tk Burtin-Johnson who is an alumna of the University of Central Florida.

Red Hazel will now be available in four new Total Wine & More stores around the Greater Orlando area to include Colonial Plaza, Millennia, Altamonte Springs, and Jacksonville. They are already currently sold in multiple Total Wine locations within Georgia in addition to other restaurants and liquor stores within Georgia and Florida.

"In this first year, we have learned so much. The pandemic made us pivot very quickly, but we have become stronger because of it," states COO Ty Burtin, brother to CEO, Tk Burtin-Johnson.

In October 2020, Red Hazel first debuted with direct ship-to-home in over 30 states. Now, after celebrating its one-year anniversary, Red Hazel has expanded even further into a total of 40 states now including Texas, Virginia, and Michigan.

Additionally, Red Hazel has stayed busy by hosting Black Spirit Owner Networking events, giving other Southern-based spirit brands a chance to connect with each other. They also continue to host their #ThirstyThursday Instagram Lives where they share their personal path to building their brand.
