Godrej Locks to provide burglary insurance for up to 20 times the product value

To commemorate the occasion, Godrej, a brand synonymous with India's trust, quality, and safety, has teamed with Liberty General Insurance Ltd. to provide customers purchasing Godrej door locks burglary insurance up to INR 1280 Cr. The company urges citizens to be proactive and stay protected against threats such as robberies and burglaries with this project.

Following that, the customer must submit a legitimate invoice with GST to activate the insurance. The validity of the insurance would be 1 year from the date of activation and the insurance value will be 20 times the MRP of the lock purchased. Customers who encounter a burglary at home or a lock break-in can file a claim for the insurance. In order to collect insurance after a break-in or burglary, the customer/victim must present a valid copy of the FIR. The insurance policy also covers the loss of jewellery and high-end items.
