Local Professional Football Player, Kevion McDonald, Signs With Billings Outlaws (CIF)

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Nov. 19, 2021 - PRLog -- Black Diamond PR & Sport Management Firm, one of the top 10 independently owned Sport Management Firms in the U.S., is pleased to announce the signing of their client, and Rochester native, Kevion McDonald, to the Billings Outlaws. The Billings Outlaws are a professional arena team in the Champions Indoor Football League (CIF), located in Billings, Montana.

Kevion McDonald, a Rochester resident, is a 5'11, 197 lb wide receiver out of the University of Wisconsin- Stout. He has also trained as a running-back and safety. Kevion attended the Black Diamond 2021 Symposium and Showcase where he was able to show off his speed and agility. These were key determining factors in Billings signing of Kevion. He has proven that he will be a valued asset to this Outlaws team in the spring.

"I'm so thankful for this opportunity and I'm excited to continue my football journey in Billings with Coach Brian Schmidt, a great coaching staff, and team," says McDonald. "I'm hoping to bring value to the team and contribute in any way that I can."

The Billings Outlaws won three indoor championships between the years of 2000-2010, with eight appearances in 11 seasons. They played in front of more than 8,000 spectators at MetraPark, now First Interstate Arena. The team folded after a tornado destroyed their facilities at SportsPlex in 2010. The anticipated return of the Billings Outlaws will be one for the books as they fight to restore their rightful place in professional arena football.

In 2021, Champions Indoor Football had active teams in Salina, Wichita and Dodge City, Kansas; Omaha, Nebraska; Sioux City, Iowa; and Gillette. Omaha won the league title 40-39 on July 17 over Salina, which was guided by former Outlaws coach Heron O'Neal. Two teams from Texas and one from Oklahoma were inactive; another expansion team from Denver figures to give the league 10 active teams for 2022.
