Make an online Donation to Help Victims of the British Columbia Floods

ABBOTSFORD, British Columbia - Dec. 4, 2021 - PRLog -- People are returning home after the unprecedented flooding in areas of British Columbia Canada. In one home a 1000 lbs pool table had been moved across the room by the immense power of the water entering the home. The damage is expected to be in the billions of dollars.

The recovery is expected to take months and in some cases, years. The impacts of the 3 consecutive storms has been wide spread and now the victims are facing the next challenges. The weather is changing from consecutive atmospheric rivers to freezing temperatures and snow. This is likely to cause even more struggles for those still without power and water in their homes and businesses.

The community is strong and coming together to help victims in an amazing way. Some communities were completely isolated due to highway and road collapses, mud slides and other storm related damages. Other communities came together to gather food, meals, supplies and other needed items which were flown into these communities by helicopters. Now the hard work continues. ProPics Canada Media Ltd has started a donation fund to help victims without insurance in addition to recruiting and coordinating volunteers to go in and help victims with cleanup and recovery efforts. Some residents in the regions were unable to purchase insurance for flooding as some regions were in flood zones.
