The Singing Pastors 2021 Kicked Off the Holiday Season

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Dec. 8, 2021 - PRLog -- This past Saturday, Dwight Moment Sr., Gospel Recording Artist, Praise and Worship Leader, and Vice President of the Broward/Fort Lauderdale Chapter Gospel Industry Network (GIN); produced a show made for television. Singing Pastors is a concert comprised of Pastors showcasing their vocal talents accompanied by backup singers as well as their gift to expound on the word of God giving a 90-second Sermonette.

As people arrived and parked their cars in the parking lot of Redeeming Word Worship Center you felt the energy and excitement traveling from the parking lot into the sanctuary. Everyone began to settle in their seats and the show begin with a comedic act and then there was a shift in the atmosphere as Pastor Avery Jones of Miami set the tone of what could be expected during the night and following behind him was Pastor Jimmy Witherspoon of New Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and Student Counselor of Fort Lauderdale with an old school hymn that had the church reflecting on a time when the church was just church hand-clapping and foot-stomping. In between, there were various other Pastors from Dade, Broward and Palm Beach that performed as well. But then the Twin Pastors of Kingdom Builders Worship Center Cheryl Powell and Carol Powell Phillips who took their 90-seconds and made it feel like Sunday morning worship.

The second half of the program was slowed down by Pastor Shane Walters doing a  Praise and Worship melody, followed by  Pastor George Rich; as Pastor Rich ended his song Bishop Seleaveya Dillard caught us off guard with her version of "Deliver Me" by LeAndria Johnson, Bishop Dillard left the audience in amazement of her gift for singing. And just when we thought service was over Dr. Deborah Brown Vice President of the Miami Dade GIN took the stage with the song "Stretch Out"; as she performed you could hear the sounds of Shirley Ceasar, Dorothy Norwood, and Inez Andrews all had risen up from her belly pushed through her vocals and had everyone in the church up out of their seats.          Closing out the show were two dynamic guest Pastors from out of town, Pastor Michael Lampkin such an anointed man, he wooed us with his velvety voice that you can just place on repeat all day. Finally coming to the stage was Vincent Bohanan who just released his new album on Friday, December 3, 2021, on all digital outlets. He closed us ut with his choir vibes, hand-clapping foot stomping all the way out the door. Everyone in the building was breathless. We can look forward to 2022 leaving us on the edge as well.
