MedWand™ Solutions, announced the launch of its newly formed strategic committee of trusted advisors. MedWand's newly appointed Advisory Board includes distinguished healthcare and industry leaders who will focus on shaping and guiding the strategy and go-to-market priorities of MedWand, working closely with the leadership team.

MedWand's Advisory Board is made up of powerhouse leaders who will bring a wealth of knowledge and decades of real world, enterprise experience. The advisors include:
- Thomas Leffler, Transitioning CEO, Entrepreneur, Investor - Thomas Leffler is an accomplished leader with achievements in corporate and entrepreneurial environments spanning across a variety of industries. Thomas has a proven track record of successfully turning around, growing, and selling companies. His most recent achievement was serving as President at Rivers Edge Pharmacy – a midsize specialty pharmacy and infusion services provider headquartered in Irvine, CA. Prior to this, Thomas was Co-Founder and CEO of iMatrix Software, a software-as-a-service platform of choice for many of the world's leading direct sales companies. In 2008, Thomas acquired, turned around, and was CEO of The Tech Factory, a provider of workflow enterprise software systems. In 2013, he sold the IP assets to his largest client, a Fortune 500 company. Prior to this, Thomas was the Managing Director of Platinum Venture Group, a Private Equity and Venture Capital firm. For the last 15 years Thomas intermittently has served as the Interim President or CEO for several start-ups through midsize companies. Thomas has served on many corporate and nonprofit boards, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Jonathan Foundation and the Social Networking Association. He earned his BA degree in Marketing & Business from Carthage College and MBA from Cardinal Stretch University.
- Bob Kelley, CEO, Adaptive Business Leaders (ABL) Organization - Bob has extensive successful experience with Business Model & Workflow Innovation and especially Value Proposition Design, as a part Business Model Innovation. Bob's Developing Boards of Directors Workshop Program now has a major section on: Continuously Innovating Your Business Model. (This Board Program was initially developed in conjunction with Price Waterhouse, O'Melveny & Myers, and the forerunner of ABL.) Bob has chaired the development of six boards, participated in 24, and trained over 450 Board Members. He Facilitates ABL's Technology & HealthCare CEO Round Table Sessions (over 2000); Develops Major CEO Conferences (15) and is an expert at leading & managing high growth businesses & business operations. His specialties also include analyzing competitive threats & collaboratively crafting effective responses in the course of governing very high potential angel investments. He is the author of: Board of Directors & It's Role in Growing Companies and is co-author of the First Major Book on "Angel Investing". Bob also engages in Career Coaching for CEOS and for young people 14 to 30. He earned his BBA in Operations and Research Marketing from Notre Dame University and holds a Harvard MBA with disciplines focused on accelerating corporate growth.
- Robert "Bob" G. Funari Executive Chairman Patient Care America - Bob Funari is the Executive Chairman of the Board of Patient Care America (PCA). Previously, Bob was also Chairman of the Board of NxStage Medical, Inc., from 2013 until 2019, and in March 2019, Fresenius Medical Care acquired NxStage. Earlier, as the Chairman and CEO of Crescent Healthcare, from 2004 to 2012, Bob led the leading infusion therapy service company to double in size, until its acquisition by Walgreens in 2012. Prior to joining Crescent, Bob was President of Syncor International Corp., a specialized pharmacy and medical imaging services company with 225+ locations in the U.S. and 16 locations overseas, until its 2003 sale to Cardinal Health. When Bob first joined ABL, in 1989, he was in the midst of his 17 years with Baxter, ultimately as Corporate VP and President of the Pharmaseal division. He also led the successful turnaround of the Paramax Systems Division, turning around operating losses of $18M a year to profitability two years later, while winning Baxter's Scientific Products Division's "Supplier of the Year" award three years in a row. Bob was named 2010 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the Turnaround Category in the Orange County/ Desert Cities Region. He is a member of the RAND Health Advisory Board, Sterling HSA, Memorial Care Foundation, and a member of the National Board of Thrive Scholars. He was a Director of Beckman Coulter, prior to its sale to Danaher for $6.8 billion. He is also Chairman of ABL's Healthcare Executive Council. Bob's primary personal interest is his collection of classic and performance automobiles. He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, with honors, and an MBA from Harvard, where he was a Baker Scholar.
- Shan Padda, CEO, Entrepreneur and Investor - Shan Padda is an investor and serial entrepreneur with multiple successful exits in healthcare including a Nasdaq IPO. All of his companies have been industry transforming. He is currently Chairman & CEO of Harvard MedTech. He was named Illinois High Tech Entrepreneur of the year in 1998 and is a member of the Chicago Entrepreneurial Hall of Fame. He graduated from Harvard University.
These heavy-hitting additions to the advisory board are a direct reflection of the company's agile mindset and eagerness to bring a wealth of industry backgrounds and diversity of thought to MedWand. The advisory board – whose experience reaches across the major corporations' technology, patient care, academics, and healthcare sectors – will work closely with MedWand's internal leadership and advise on all matters relating to the company's growth, launch, deployment, and the delivery of future technologies currently in development.
