8th Annual Adopt-A-Family Fundraiser Spreads Holiday Cheer for Underserved Families in Southern NV

LAS VEGAS - Dec. 29, 2021 - PRLog -- Las Vegas – Toys, gifts, household items, family outings, and holiday spirit were among the items given to underserved families by The Ogden Family Foundation, in partnership with Community Outreach Medical Center (COMC) during its 8th Annual Adopt-A-Family Event. Thanks to the generous support of donors, sponsors, volunteers, and toy drive locations, The Ogden Family Foundation and COMC were able to adopt 20 families, which was nearly 100 people this year. "Over the course of 8 years, we have been able to provide over 800 people with much-needed items for the holidays during a very difficult time with the generous support of our sponsors and the community," said Kema Ogden, Co-Founder of The Ogden Family Foundation and Executive Director of Community Outreach Medical Center.

Several organizations benefited from this event by identifying participating families, including Community Outreach Medical Center, Children's Heart Center, Grant a Gift Autism Foundation- Ackerman Center, and other amazing community partners.

The 2021 Event sponsor was Top Notch- The Health Center.  Family Sponsors included Gina Corena and Associates, Levi Stauss, The Howie Family, and the Tandoi Family.

Adopted families were given in addition to toys,  necessities such as clothing, groceries, hygiene items, furniture, entertainment movie tickets, plus Walmart and restaurant gift cards. Most importantly toy drive items were provided to families by the Las Vegas community. New unwrapped toys were brought to the 6 PKWY Tavern locations, 7 Wahoo's Tacos locations, Top Notch- The Health Center, Craft Kitchen,  Gina Corena, and Associates, on top of other various local Las Vegas and Henderson businesses.
