America's Boating Channel Welcomes the Start of 2022

RALEIGH, N.C. - Jan. 1, 2022 - PRLog -- In 2021, recreational boaters invested more than ten-thousand seven-hundred hours (10,710+ hrs.) viewing America's Boating Channel's™ safe boating and boater education videos, generating nearly two-million nine-hundred thousand (2,898,000+) impressions, up a percentage point over 2020.

The top three titles for 2021 and number of views for each were NAVIGATION RULES FAQ: (https://youtu.be/Jjx9ELuSxyM) 37,702 views; PWC PERSON OVERBOARD AND ROLL-OVERS: (https://youtu.be/_o33kOjQ8Ms%20) 24,606 views; and STOPPING A BOAT ON PLANE: (https://youtu.be/L1SZiMJ0vx8) 21,977 views; videos that cover basic safety regulations and emergency boating maneuvers.



Nearly half (46%) of America's Boating Channel viewers were aged 35-54. 38% were aged 18-34, and 16% were 55+. 89% of viewers were male. 52% were U.S. based.

In December, America's Boating Channel was recognized as the Top Marine Media Outlet for 2021 with the National Boating Industry Safety Award (https://www.boatingsafety.com/blogpost/1828549/391278/Con...). The award was presented by the Sea Tow Foundation (https://www.boatingsafety.com/) at the Marine Retailers Association of Americas (MRAA) (https://www.mraa.com/) National Dealer Week (https://www.dealerweek.com/) in Austin, TX.

Two-thirds (66.5%) of America's Boating Channel's 2.9 million YouTube impressions were generated externally, with impressions driving a 5.7% click-through rate resulting in one-hundred sixty-three thousand seven-hundred sixty-six (163,766) of the educational video service's well over a quarter of a million video views.

America's Boating Channel's sixth season of videos is currently in production, covering fire extinguisher regulations, defensive boating, electronic charts and virtual ATONS, commercial traffic, trailering a boat, life jacket wear, boat operator responsibilities, navigating inlets, electronic visual distress signals, and capacity compliance.

The educational video service is also developing a new series of narrated drone videos covering high-traffic coastal inlets.
