One size fits many? Young fashion brand «oh sister clothing» makes it possible and addresses other customer concernsAccording to a recent McKinsey study, the two biggest trends for 2022 would be a wish to get out of loungewear without losing comfort («wardrobe reboot») and an ever-growing public concern for ecology and ethical production. «oh sister clothing», a woman for women brand created in 2021, addresses both these trends. Its one-size-fits- Genia Pronyakina, the brand's founder and designer, says: «It is of utmost importance that my brand offers designs that value a healthy attitude to women's bodies. I see the growing demand for redefining the concept of feminine and elegant, and to be dressed to one's ideals, rejecting the demand of a male gaze. As a consumer myself, I care for ethical production. That's why I work with only local ateliers, where I can check the working conditions. I care for sustainability. Choosing high-quality fabrics, I make clothes that last long. Later, such clothes can easily become a part of the circular economy. I opted for recycled and recyclable packaging, no plastic. I work with local suppliers, reducing the supply chain and gas emissions. All in all, I created a brand that corresponds to my values.» Now the brand is running a crowdfunding campaign to raise additional funds to produce its first collection and building a distribution chain: http://kck.st/ End
