Chinese Art Comes to the Coconut Point Art Festival

NAPLES, Fla. - Feb. 1, 2022 - PRLog -- Always one of the most anticipated events of the season, the Coconut Point Art Festival takes place from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday, February 12 – 13, 2022 in the Coconut Point Mall in Estero Florida.  Residents and visitors are invited to stroll amidst life-size sculptures, spectacular paintings, one-of-a-kind jewels, photography, ceramics and more.  Admission to the festival is free.

This year, for the first time, the festival will include an exhibit of Chinese Art by artist Tiffany Chang. The exhibit will include a number of scenes from ancient China.  Chinese landscape art is the world's oldest continuous art tradition and these paintings capture the spirit of this tradition.  The exhibit will also include several colorful Chinese characters based on some of the animals of the Chinese zodiac.

Born in Shanghai, China, Tiffany Chang is now a resident of Naples Florida where the artwork for this exhibit was created.  She has always been interested in artwork related to ancient Chinese civilization. At the age of ten she began training where she learned the basics of how to create Chinese artwork.  This began a lifelong passion for creating and learning about the Chinese culture through art. Her large oil paintings are currently displayed in the United States, China and Taiwan.

The Coconut Point Art festival represents original artwork, handmade in America and selected by an independent panel of expert judges from hundreds of applicants.  In addition to displaying their art, Tiffany Chang and the other artists will be available during the exhibition to discuss their artwork.
