Social Media Influencer and Advocate Toby Smiles on a Mission to Empower People and Hopes to Get a Starbucks Drink Named After Him in the Process

NEW YORK - Feb. 2, 2022 - PRLog -- Born three weeks early and diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, viral social media sensation Toby Smiles is on a mission to empower people and remind them that they can do anything if they believe.

An avid social media user, Smiles began making YouTube videos in 2017 with predictions for 2018 but soon transitioned into technology and quickly realized being an influencer was something he wanted to do more.

Currently sitting at just under one million followers on TikTok, Smiles' page is unverified despite having 4.4. million views. In addition to TikTok, Smiles has over 10K followers on Instagram, all of whom tune in to watch him share his favorite things, voiceovers, and filter challenges.

I want to do this because countless people with disabilities are not treated their age. So as I continue on my pathway, I want to tell everyone to stop treating them like they're not intelligent and actually see what they are really thinking in the noggin. Among the top of Smiles' list are his favorite drinks from Starbucks. By his estimation, Smiles has spent over $1,000 on Starbucks drinks which, in his words, is more than he's spent on school supplies, so he felt it was worth a shot to ask. Smiles currently has a Change.org petition requesting special name recognition with almost 4,000 signatures out of the 5,000 needed.
