Rochester Gauges Announces Name Change to Rochester SensorsSignificant infusion of engineering talent enhances capability to offer state-of-the art sensing technologies to OEMs, system integrators, distributors, and end users.
By: Rochester Sensors With more than 200 patents to its credit and a global footprint of over 600 employees (100+ engineers), Rochester Sensors develops measurement solutions for the propane, refrigeration, marine, off-highway, rail, and process equipment industries worldwide. Along with the name change is a new logo. The form itself has a slightly more modern look while retaining the basic structure of the logo that served Rochester well for so many years. The green diagonal stripes on the "R" reflects a commitment to wireless communication and the environment while the line under "Rochester" underscores continuing commitment to innovation and measurement excellence. The word "Sensors" captures Rochester's vision to be the preferred choice of OEMs for engineered sensor solutions. Sr. Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing, Glen MacGibbon stated, "Our strength of purpose and commitment to customer satisfaction allowed us to keep supply lines and production working through two world wars, the cold war, terrorist threats and unforeseen pandemics. We look forward to serving the measurement needs of our customers through to the next century."
