Pure Hockey Acquires KoSports Hockey

HOLLISTON, Mass. - Feb. 15, 2022 - PRLog -- Pure Hockey, the largest hockey retailer in the U.S., announced that it has agreed to acquire KoSports Hockey, a leading hockey retailer servicing the Greater Pittsburgh area.

With the acquisition, Pure Hockey will now operate approximately 60 retail locations across the United States including 5 locations in Pennsylvania. This is the third Pure Hockey location in Pittsburgh. Over the past five years, Pure Hockey has expanded its retail footprint in Pennsylvania through acquisitions, growing its presence in a booming hockey market.

KoSports Hockey was founded in 1995 by Curt and Jackie Koman and quickly became the premier hockey retailer in Western PA, Eastern OH, and WV. For over 25 years, the KoSports Hockey team built a loyal customer base through exceptional customer service and product selection.

The retail location will remain at KoSports Hockey address of  2588 Washington Rd, Canonsburg, PA 15317 and the acquisition is for this retail location only. An outstanding KoSports Hockey gift cards and skate sharpening issued prior to the acquisition will be honored by Pure Hockey.
