Global Learning Charter Public School Earns Top Ten Award in the International Coding Competition

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. - Feb. 15, 2022 - PRLog -- Global Learning Charter Public School (GLCPS), a tuition-free public charter school that currently services 500 students in grades 5-12, recently earned a top ten award in an international coding competition sponsored by Codementum.

Led by technology teacher Mrs. Monteiro the fifth grade class participated in the competition and ranked number eight in the junior category. Ninety-eight countries participated with 1,734 schools joining and 2,578 classes competing. In all 34,879 students competed with 5,671,270 lines of code written.
