PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. - Feb. 18, 2022 - PRLog -- Bluegrass Comeback to Southern Maryland Concert Series

Bringing back the concert series at a new venue

California, MD— February 17, 2022 Show number 3 of the Bluegrass Comeback series comes together on Sunday March 13, 2022, with Sideline Bluegrass.

Originally established by Jay Armsworthy, after a 15-year stint of the Bluegrass Series at the American Legion in Hughesville, and with the decision to close their doors except for private events led to a new and welcoming home for Bluegrass music. The Calvert Elks #2620 in Prince Frederick, MD is a larger venue with comfortable cushioned seating.

The Sideline Bluegrass Band is a six-piece powerhouse band who's been in business for two decades. To listen to Sideline reminds the fan of why so many people fall in love with bluegrass in the first place — pulse-pounding drive, songs sung from the heart, perfected timing, and dynamics. Founding members, Steve Dilling and Skip Cherryholmes, are joined by Jamie Harper, Nick Goad, Andy Buckner, and Kyle Windbeck. Each with a commitment to working as one unit to deliver high-energy, innovative, hard-driving, variety-packed entertainment night after night throughout Sideline's lengthy tour schedule. Always seeking new breakthroughs in music, while holding to the core of their proven success - A love for each other, a love for their ever-growing loyal fanbase, and a true love and passion for the music they create.

Doors will open at Noon with the show starting at 2:00 pm. Tickets for the shows will be $20.00 per person sold at the door only with children under twelve free with a paid adult. Food and beverages will also be available for sale at Noon for a separate price.

The final show in this series will include a new group on the circuit, Fast Track Bluegrass Band on Sunday May 1, 2022. Troy Jones will be our sound engineer for the event.
