Local printouts also from remote training desktops

Feb. 25, 2022 - PRLog -- Due to the desired network separation between the remote desktop and the end device, users were previously dependent on complicated and often expensive additional solutions or special printers for printing.

With the deskMate Cloud Printing function, print jobs are converted to PDF format and sent to the user's end device, where they can be printed on any local printer. Additional hardware or the installation of special software on the end device is not required.

In remote training environments, this allows participants to locally print documents created during training. Even in home office, documents can be printed and edited quickly and easily as needed.

Despite cloud printing, the network separation between the remote desktop and the end device, which is important and relevant for data security and data protection, still exists.

The function is now available to every deskMate user free of charge. However, the administrator / training organization has the option to prevent Cloud Printing or to make it available only to special users.
