Follow on Google News | Miller Homes Supports Yorkshire Food Banks with Easter Egg AppealBy: FMPR Ltd In addition to donating over 100 Easter Eggs the housebuilder is also using the sales centres at its developments across the region, to ask people in the local communities to drop off a spare Easter Egg or two, so that children may receive a chocolate treat this Easter Weekend. "There is such a squeeze on household budgets at the moment and this has meant that an ever-growing number of people in our region are turning to foodbanks for support," said Debbie Whittingham, Sales Director, Miller Homes Yorkshire. "If our local communities can just add an Easter Egg to their weekly shop and drop off at one of our developments, it may mean that more children can enjoy Easter this year than we thought possible." The eggs will be donated to two local food banks, both of which are part of the Trussell Trust and which support families in East Yorkshire and Leeds and West Yorkshire. A spokesperson on behalf of Trussell Trust Foodbanks in Yorkshire commented; "We are delighted to accept the support from Miller Homes this Easter and hope, that those that can, help with a donation. We support over 300 children in the East Yorkshire region and have helped over 1000 in West so far this year, and to be able to give them an Easter Egg would be truly special."
