Jennifer M. Chavez Joins Hunters Run Country Club As Assistant General Manager

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - March 21, 2022 - PRLog -- Larry Savvides, Hunters Run Country Club's Chief Operating Officer, General Manager announced that Jennifer M. Chavez has joined the Club as its new Assistant General Manager. Ms. Chavez will assist in overseeing Club activities, special projects and capital planning. Hunters Run is a 990-acre gated private country club community with 3 (18-hole) golf courses and 1649 residences located in Boynton Beach, FL.

Chavez comes to Hunters Run with over 25 years of experience in the private golf, yacht, and country club industry.  Before joining Hunters Run, she spent seven years as Chief Financial Officer for Mizner Country Club in Delray Beach. During her tenure, she collaborated with the management team and the Board in the development of their strategic and master plans for the Club contributing to the Club's status as an Elite Distinguished Club from BoardRoom Magazine in partnership with Forbes Travelguide.

Chavez began her career in the hospitality industry at the Nantucket Yacht Club as Controller. After leaving the island, she relocated to Florida full time with her family and was at Broken Sound Country Club for eight years as Controller during Phase I & II of their Master Plan.

In making the announcement, Savvides said, "Jennifer is a welcome addition to the Hunters Run management team. She is an experienced professional in all areas of private club management with a proven track record of guiding numerous clubs in achieving high levels of success. Her ability to handle multiple capital projects by implementing innovative and creative solutions will help us achieve greater success as the Club transitions into a new era."

Chavez attended Clark University, Worcester, MA, where she graduated with her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees while being an accomplished collegiate athlete. Committed to community service, she's an active participant in Habitat for Humanity as well as Boca Helping Hands. She has also been actively involved with the international organization, Hospitality Financial Technology Professionals (HFTP) since 2008 and is a past President of the HFTP Gold Coast Chapter.
