TORONTO - March 30, 2022 - PRLog -- District 60 Toastmasters is excited to announce an exciting and diverse lineup of educational workshops and keynote speakers for its 2022 Hybrid Annual Conference to be held Saturday April 30 at the BMO IFL State of the Art Facility in Toronto.

With 7 inspiring workshops, the Conference will feature crème de la crème speakers and presenters. "In addition to two terrific keynote speakers and a highly regarded Communication & Leadership Award recipient, George Keenan Award recipient and a Corporate Recognition to Deloitte LLP, this year's Hybrid Conference features compelling educational workshops that cover a wide variety of relevant topics," says Aneeta Pathak, Toastmasters' 2021-22 District Director. "Attendees will receive an informative and entertaining experience throughout the conference."

The main-stage presenters include Morag Mathieson, the First Vice President of Toastmasters International, who will deliver a plenary workshop during the morning session. She says, "Growth in confidence is the biggest single benefit to be gained from Toastmasters. By establishing and extending their competence in all forms of communication and leadership, members are able to make a positive impact throughout all aspects of their lives."

Mark Bowden, a world-renowned Body Language Expert, will deliver one of the keynote presentations. Mark is a bestselling author and voted Global Gurus' #1 Body Language Professional in the world, Mark is the Founder of communication training company TRUTHPLANE®, and his unique GesturePlane™ system of nonverbal communication helps audiences maximize the power of using their own body language to stand out, win trust, and gain credibility every time they communicate.

The first 100 people to register for the Conference's "In-person" option will receive a free book: "Truth and Lies: What People Are Really Thinking".

Carol Schulte will be the second keynote presenter. An authority on brave leadership and founder of The BRĀV Institute, Carol has been educating, empowering, and entertaining audiences internationally for almost a decade. Carol is a published author, has been featured in numerous magazines and podcasts

Jennifer Bernard is the recipient of Toastmasters' 2022 Communication and Leadership Award.  In December 2020, Jennifer was recognized as one of the Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada and presented with the Inclusion Vanguard Award by the Women's Executive Network.

Other workshops are • A Toastmaster's Guide to Publishing Your Book by Rob Peck, Leading in a Volunteer Organization by Dinesh Sharma, KAIZEN - The Japanese Secret to Lasting Change by Azhar Khan, YOU are the Solution by George Anastasopoulos, Using proven structures for effective impromptu responses by Michel Adedokun, Connect to Communicate by Harry Ansara, and Working in a Team Environment by Wendy Williamson.

Virtual participants will attend in an interactive platform called Pheedloop hosted by the BMO IFL.

There will be a Talent Show called D60's Got Talent as well as a Photography Contest and a Karaoke Entertainment night. The IFL has award winning Chefs and attendees will partake of 3 delicious meals in a technologically state of the art facility.
