Autism Society San Diego and Mainly Mozart Co-Host 4th Annual Lights! Camera! Autism! Back in the Spotlight!Event to be held at the New UC San Diego Park & Market Downtown
By: Autism Society San Diego The event will feature an art exhibition with works by more than 24 autistic artists and musical performances by Autism's Got Talent's 2021 finalist, pianist/vocalist Bruce Kopstein, and by the star of the documentary "Bass Clef Bliss" Terrence Patridge & Friends Jazz Ensemble. Catering and floral décor will be provided by local businesses who employ autistic individuals. The evening's showcase event will be a showing of the Netflix documentary The Speed Cubers with the show's star Max Park, who is on the autism spectrum, followed by a Q & A panel with members from the Exceptional Minds Studios, who employ individuals on the spectrum, and their work with Sesame Street. "Lights! Camera! Autism! is a showcase of brilliant musicians, visual artists and filmmakers who happen to be on the spectrum," said Mainly Mozart CEO Nancy Laturno. "Mainly Mozart is honored to partner with the Autism Society San Diego for what will be a fun and enriching evening that celebrates incredible autistic artists across many genres." The event will be held at the newly opened UC San Diego @ Park & Market, located in the heart of Downtown, which welcomes and inspires an innovative collective of civic, business, innovation, educational and arts entities. The new four-story 66,750-square- Event tickets at $75 per person provide access to the art exhibitions, musical entertainment, Digital Gym, appetizers, open bar, and valet parking. VIP Tickets at $125 per person elevate the evening's experience with early access, special meet-and-greets, and a VIP reception with an expanded menu of specialty items and signature drinks. $25 tickets are available for those on the autism spectrum.
