NEW YORK - April 4, 2022 - PRLog -- Toki Mats, the preferred modern and natural foam mats brand of millennial parents, announced today that it has joined with Gugu Guru – the premier destination of shoppable content for moms by moms – to host the first-ever contest designed specifically to support aspiring mom content creators. With "The Next Toki Mama", the two companies have partnered up to find a budding Mom Creator that will be hired and paid to create content for Toki Mats' TikTok account.

This initiative couldn't come at a better time; according to a recent study conducted by Shopify, 62% of mothers say they are interested in supplementing their income, with more than 50% reporting at least some interest in starting their own business. The explosion of the Creator Economy – estimated at a $104 billion market size - has unearthed one of the hottest options for these entrepreneurial minded women – a career in content creation.

In "The Next Toki Mama" contest powered by Gugu Guru, Mom Content Creators can send their video submission of why they want to create content for Toki Mats. Toki Mats and Gugu Guru will then review the submissions to select one creator to be crowned as the face of Toki Mats' TikTok for 30 days, along with a $1500 cash payment. The contest is open to US residents and no social media followers are required – opening the door for smaller and newbie Mom Creators who are often overlooked by brands.

Along with fun and lucrative content creation opportunities like "The Next Toki Mama", when content creators join the new Mom Creators community on Gugu Guru, they can benefit from tips and tutorials for entrepreneurial & creative moms, aspiring content creators and mom influencers.
