Mystic Endeavors & Paranormal TV Partner to Launch ParaPod Film Festival

SAN ANTONIO - April 7, 2022 - PRLog -- Mystic Endeavors CEO Tony Sweet has partnered with the CEO of Paranormal TV, "SuperFrank" Copsidas, to create the ParaPod Film Festival, a podcast and film festival to celebrate paranormal content and its creators. The festival is currently in its planning phase and is expected to accept submissions in categories which may include Best Short-form Podcast (Under 30 Minutes), Best Long-form Podcast, Best Half-hour Digital Series, Best One-hour Digital Series, Best Short-form Documentary Film, and Best Feature-length Documentary Film. The ParaPod Film Festival will be judged by a panel of professionals within the podcasting, live-streaming, and documentary communities. Awards will be presented at a live event slated for October 2022 at the historic Menger Hotel. Exact dates to be announced.

"I've always had a soft spot for paranormal content," says Sweet. "There are so many fringe topics that fall under this umbrella, and many of the content creators working in the paranormal genre are skipped over by mainstream media, regardless of the quality of their content."

Tony Sweet is the executive producer and host of the top-rated paranormal podcast, Truth Be Told, which was recently ranked in the top 1% of all podcasts globally by Chartable. His Burbank-based UBNGo Network is home to over 60 podcasts in a variety of genres. He began podcasting 15 years ago when it was still called "internet radio" and is the first network in Los Angeles to offer television quality cameras for livestreaming video.

"There is no denying there is a market for paranormal content," adds Copsidas. "We would be remiss is not creating a platform on which to celebrate those who so skillfully craft paranormal content."

"SuperFrank" Copsidas is a serial entrepreneur and is currently the CEO of Intrigue TV, which owns and operates ten over-the-air broadcast television stations. He recently created Paranormal TV in 2021 on WCRN TV in Boston. Intrigue TV also produces original, award winning shows for broadcast. Previously, he has been involved in worldwide artist management, including the iconic James Brown, has owned and operated 14 radio stations, and produced hundreds of concerts and events.
