April 04, 2022, Fort Lauderdale, FL -- Spring is a time to renew and rejoice. The artworks featured in Spring Selections put an emphasis on the blossoming new season and welcome viewers to explore refreshing pastel palettes and floral prints - visual vibrancies that refresh the gallery, spreading cheery artistic intrigue to welcome the new season. Reds, blues, yellows, and oranges glimmer throughout the exhibition, becoming an array of bright and bold hues that canvas the gallery. This welcoming glow is burgeoning with seeds of allurement. Spring Selections includes Miss Bugs, Andrew Cotton, Joan Miro, Marlene Rose, David Salle, Hunt Slonem, and others. The exhibition runs from April 5, 2022 – May 5, 2022, at New River Fine Art. Hunt Slonem, renowned for his distinct neo-expressionist style is best known for his series of bunnies, butterflies, and tropical birds. His glowing LED bunny boxes and bright blue glass rabbits give a lighthearted nod to the upcoming holiday. Andrew Cotton's edgy style is shown in his contemporary portraits, the liveliness of the pieces pays tribute to modern day topics and a historical legend in a Street Art meets Pop Art juxtaposition. Frida Kahlo, Andy Warhol, and Keith Haring reign supreme in their own majestic postures. Marlene Rose's work has a quality of timelessness. Each piece is hand cast in sand from molten glass in a spectacular process of heat and light. Her sand cast buddha heads offer a peaceful, meditative allure. American Artist, David Salle presents a mysterious and ambiguous relationships set forth by his two subjects, a vague interaction ensuring their private narrative remains just beyond our grasp. Miss Bugs's Alogrithm Moon is showcases an enigmatic woman laden with Lego figures casted in resin with 24-carat gold leaf structures. Spring Selections also includes a cornucopia of modern masters that include works by Marc Chagall, Salvador Dali, Joan Miro, and Pablo Picasso.
