Draper Wynston Wins "Best Guest Actor" at ISA12

BURBANK, Calif. - April 11, 2022 - PRLog -- Draper Wynston Wins "Best Guest Actor"-Drama at the 12th Annual Indie Series Awards in Burbank, California this past weekend.  He wins for his portrayal of the character "Chuck", in the Daytime Emmy Nominated show #Washed on Amazon Prime. He plays eccentric club owner that is loved and hated. This is Draper's first single category nomination and win. Draper attached to #Washed in Season 2.

The award winning show, #Washed is no stranger to awards. #Washed is about a group of millennials that hit a certain age and now have to take on life. Winning Several awards with Season 1, Season 2 came back stronger and better. With Awards such as Boss Pitch Competition Winner at the Hip Hop Film Festival, Outstanding Dramatic Digital Series Nominee at the Micheax Film Festival, Winner of the Best Dramatic Ensemble at the Minnesota Web Fest.  Lastly #WASHED received a nomination at the Indie Series Awards in 2019.

The cast consists of some powerhouse actors and actresses right out of Dallas, TX. Such names include, Nadirah Shakir, Byron Hardy, Corey Pratt,Terilisha, Brittney Bluitt and Ashley Keggs, who both received nomination nods at the ISA12. Directed by Emmy Award winner Jerod Couch, and DP Jamarrio Washington.

Draper quoted before the award show,"To be nominated is a win, with this type of award show, it is simply an honor. I saw the other nominees, it was full of talented actors. So to be mentioned and nominated with them was an honor."

After receiving his prestigious award, in his acceptance speech he told the audience, the following:

"To my actors, keep showing up, eventually they will see you"
