KEY WEST, Fla. - April 14, 2022 - PRLog -- In its 6th edition, the SD BR had the partnership of the American Embassy and the AEB, and had 8 thousand participants. The event also inaugurated the 1st Space Symposium.

The initiative started on March 14th, and is far from over: a webinar will be held on SD's Instagram!

"In May, we will have a virtual Edu Talk for those who could not be with us", explained Jefferson Michaelis. Learn more about some of SD's international partners:

Known for its courses that form leaders in the fields of engineering, aviation and naval science, Farragut was represented by its director of admissions, Stephanie Wood.

"It was wonderful (…) All the students were very curious about studying in the US and wanted to know how to make this dream come true," she explained.

A reference institution, ERAU has already trained 7 current and former astronauts. In SD, Embry-Riddle brought to Edu Talk the experience of delighting young people.

"Seeing the sparkle in the children's eyes, as they discover the infinite opportunities they have for their futures (...) was the part that enchanted me the most", said Letícia Schmitz, representing ERAU.

Training leaders capable of transforming the world is the purpose of Troy University, which was present at Edu Talk.

"I'm so happy that Troy was a part of such an inspiring event. Science Days really embraced everyone. (…) It was a unique opportunity that I would encourage everyone to be a part of" - Jacob Grant, Coord. of Prospect Management.

In this edition, SD also had the presence of the president of Vaya Space operations in Latin America, Darcton Damião. The company in Brazil, a subsidiary of the American one, worked for the success of the 1st orbital launch to be carried out from the national territory.

"I see myself as someone extremely privileged to have been given the unique opportunity to help make something that has been in the Brazilian Space Program's oven for about 5 decades, happen," he said.

Talking about Maxar without talking about innovation is almost impossible. With the motto "Explore, connect and protect", Maxar, represented by software design specialist Patrícia Feingold, approached the topic "New Space".

"Your generation has the power to transform mankins," she told the students.
