Martin Brossman Joins St. Andrews University Alumni Council

RALEIGH, N.C. - May 8, 2022 - PRLog -- Martin Brossman of Martin Brossman & Associates LLC in Raleigh, NC was invited to join the St. Andrews University Alumni Council in 2021.  In 2022, he was asked to lead the Communication Task Force of the Alumni Council.

Graduating from St. Andrews in 1983, when the school was known as St. Andrews Presbyterian College, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Math and Computer Science, he testifies to a rewarding experience. "I admired my professors and enjoyed campus life in Laurinburg NC; I now go back for a visit every chance I get."

Brossman feels honored to be asked to join the Council.  "I love having the opportunity to give back to St. Andrews," he says." I want to do my part to actively support the school and its current students and help guarantee its future."

Martin Brossman is a success coach, speaker, and trainer for clients of varied backgrounds and professions.  He teaches Social Media Management and Marketing at NCSU, where he designed a Digital Marketing certification program

"I've had the privilege of being a guest speaker on topics involving business and entrepreneurship over the years since my graduation as well as giving a science lecture on AI and the Future.  It's been wonderful to interact with the students."

One of the things Martin Brossman appreciates most about St. Andrews is the school's clear commitment to adjusting to the needs of current and future students, something he was able to take advantage of himself as a student.  St. Andrews recognizes the fact that not all students perform well on standardized tests; Brossman was able to offer other proof of his abilities besides his SAT scores for admission.

"St. Andrews created a terrific learning environment for me that allowed me to experience academic success despite my learning challenges," Brossman says. "Under those supportive conditions, I could prosper and cultivate lifelong friendships. As the field of neuroscience expands and we understand more about the brains of young people, it becomes even more important for schools to adapt to fit the students' needs and thus remain relevant."

Brossman has met twice in person with the new Alumni Council and feels excited about being of contribution to the school that means so much to him.  He is now interested in finding ways to make a difference in this Alumni Council's term. Passionate about creating results on the Communication Task Force, their current focus includes upcoming programs to enhance positive awareness of the school, and the Council using Social Media to support the school.
