Non Emergency Medical Transportation Accreditation Commission Announces Executive Director Departure and Initiation of National Search

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - June 1, 2022 - PRLog -- Non Emergency Medical Transportation Accreditation Commission (NEMTAC.org) today announced the departure of its' Executive Director Melissa Jankowski. The NEMTAC Board of Directors also announced the appointment Peter J. Hicks to the role of interim Executive Director. Mr. Hicks is a Founding Board Member and currently serves as Board Vice President.

During her tenure, the organizations national accreditation and certification programs were implemented, and her efforts set the foundation for NEMTAC's role in transforming the medical transportation industry. As a non-profit organization, NEMTAC is led by an experienced and highly capable Board of Directors and Advisory Board members. The Board of Directors will be initiating a national search to identify the next Executive Director to lead the organization and continue its mission to implement ANSI national standards that reflect the expanding need for safe, efficient medical transportation services.
