Actor/Comedian Slink Johnson Lands Role In 20th Century Studios "White Men Can't Jump"

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - June 9, 2022 - PRLog -- Actor, comedian and producer, Slink Johnson is making waves in the entertainment industry. Known to many of his fans as 'Black Jesus' from the hit TV show, Adult Swim's, "Black Jesus," Johnson is on a roll. He has recently been cast in 20^th Century  Studios upcoming reboot of "White Men Can't Jump" as the funny and hilarious 'Lamont'. Johnson says, "This is a great opportunity, I was excited to learn that I had gotten the role; I'm a huge fan of the original."

Although the industry had been slowed due to the pandemic, Johnson continued to book roles and work full-time. He most recently completed work on a new TV sitcom, "Work" as well as completing the feature film, "Kings of LA."  In 2021, he created and produced in hour-long talk show, "Pimps and Kinfolks," which airs monthly of Twitch via the Cannibas Capitol channel. "I absolutely love working on Pimps and Kinfolks; the show is a show for the cannabis culture, and it gives me the opportunity to interact with some of my biggest and greatest fans," explains Johnson.

Johnson's credit is across the board when it comes to performing. He has appeared in numerous films including "Social Disturbance," "Dirty Cops LA" and the megahit, "Space Jam" opposite LeBron James.

Johnson also reprised his role as 'Lamar' in the highly anticipated video release of GTA V.  "GTA V originally debuted September 2013, I came back as Lamar and did 'The Contract' DLC pack," he says.

Johnson also continues to perform weekly on stages throughout the country as a stand-up comedian. "I will always remember where I got my start."
