Milan Design Week 2022 witnesses a phenomenal opening (Live Guide)

NEW DELHI - June 10, 2022 - PRLog -- Milan Design Week is that time of year when Salone del Mobile fair and Fuorisalone take over the Italian city of Milan. This event is a yearly pilgrimage for designers and design enthusiasts. People receive the opportunity to learn about new products, disruptive artistic expressions, and design trends. Normally held in April, this year, the Milan Design Week festivities began on June 6, 2022, and will continue till June 12. The dates ensured maximum safety for exhibitors, visitors, journalists, and the entire international furnishing and design community from all over the world. Thus, the visitors are getting to make the most of an event that promises to be jam-packed with new things every day while remaining completely safe.

The Salone Internazionale del Mobile, the International Furniture Accessories Exhibition, and Workplace3.0 are divided into the Classic, Design, and xLux style categories. The exhibition also runs along with EuroCucina and its FTK (Technology For the Kitchen) event and the International Bathroom Exhibition.

This year marks Salone del Mobile fair's 60th anniversary. The fair features 200,000 m² of exhibition space, with around 2,100 exhibitors, including 600 designers from the Salone Satellite. The event is taking place at Milan Fairgrounds, Rho, and six  Design Districts in Milan:

Milan Design Week- Main design districts

Brera Design District

Brera Design District, located in the heart of Milan, remains one of the city's largest and most established design districts.  Also, you can witness a diverse range of exhibitions and events at brand showrooms and temporary sites across the neighborhood.

Isola Design District

The Isola Design District works as a showcase for the work of local designers and creatives. Additionally, the district, which is located just north of the city center in the Isola neighborhood, comprises exhibitions, installations, workshops, and talks centered on the topic "Together as One."

Tortona Design Week

Tortona Design Week is a series of exhibitions and events held in Milan's Zona Tortona neighborhood in the city's southwest. Also, the topic for this year's display- "Fluidity and Design."

6 to 12 June 2022.

5Vie Design Week

5VIE Design Week takes place in Milan's Cinque Vie neighborhood, the city's ancient Medieval quarter near the Duomo cathedral. Also, it features a multitude of exhibitions, conferences, and activities-themed "Prototyping Utopias."
