According to the urban legend, individuals no-clip, or teleport, without rhyme or reason, into these Backrooms. Severed from reality, the victims are not completely alone. All manner of bizarre monsters, referred to as "Entities," keep the wanderers company.

Goerman has spent his lifetime pursuing real paranormal encounters. He has been fortunate enough to have his writings featured in national magazines and his research serve as source material for many books and popular television shows such as Unsolved Mysteries, The Unexplained, History's Mysteries, Animal X, MonsterQuest, and Dark Matters: Twisted But True.
